Thanks prof,There seems not to be hope,as the only system with the mandate to turn around our country has been eaten up by corruption,we are no more beign educated in this country, the politicians are destroying our tomorrow, every thing has become whom u know or what u have to offer in return for service rendered.lf the only people entrusted with power to cause change in our livelihood are so selfish that they only cause the change in their pockets,where then do we seek protection?our judicial system is not trusted, the police cannot be spoken of, the law makers argue for their gain,the educational system is in total disarray where lies our tomorrow?

We do not think so!

So, why don't you take some time to lend your powerful voice to the GIGS and Fair Trade Oil Share Ghana (FTOS-Gh) Campaign/Petition for more more oil revenues for Ghana. Clearly, even if 50% of the $6 billion lost to the Oil Companies the last 5 years were made paid to Ghana, a lot of the problems you cite (education, health, etc.) could be better managed for the welfare of all Ghanaians, no matter where they live.

After all, all "perspectives" considered, the Obinim episode is just a minor case vis a vis the oil revenue issue. Fact is, if Ghana Police had bothered to proactively inform Ghanaians about their actions, many of those misguided "believers", "uneducated" may have stayed at home. Just bad administration - a minor incident right there.

She is stupid who goes to a pastor for deliverance. If she gets abused, used and dumped by the pastor, it's her own fault. Pastors never call the men at midnight to offer them prayers over the phone. They don't even call the old or unattractive women. They collect phone numbers of only the nice women to call them. A pastor shouldn't be laying his hands on and be touching women. Islam prohibits that. Only stupid women allow themselves to be used by these pastors who invoke curses on them when they refuse or try to expose them. Their curses won't work and women should stand their grounds.

The sad thing is that governments have turned blind eyes to all these because of losing votes or they themselves also suffer from the same delusion. I have a house in Kasoa but I cannot sleep at night because of the unbearable noise caused by these mushroom churches. There will be no productivity if people are resulting to false hopes and quick fix. This is indeed induced insanity.
