  Whichever you look at, Professor Emmanuel Martey's failure to name names is emphatically not an issue to be defended in a 'moralised' and 'clerical' sense. This is just flimsy, Kwame 'Koampa! Those politicians who approached him did not go to make any 'spiritual confession'.
  
  Corruption should be exposed, properly investigated and punished, not protected and concealed.
  
  Professor Emmanuel Martey has put himself in a position where he risks undermining his moral authority, reputation, credibility and integrity.

  I am currently in Accra and nobody here is defending Martey. Ghanaians are gradually realizing that people carrying titles like Prof, Rev, Dr are not in any way better than the rest of them, especially with all these false academic titles in the system and anybody carrying a Bible calling himself a Bishop.
  
  Imagine a Catholic priest admonishing his congregation to desist from specific sins that known members of his church have come up to confess to him but saying he won't name the confessors?
  
  Martey has clearly goofed. For all you know, he may even be telling a blatant lie. The amounts involved in the bribery allegation are huge - far bigger than the purported benefits they are supposed to bring.
  
  These days, the so called men of the cloth are just like the rest of us. They're not morally superior to the rest of us even if they went to Columbia or Cambridge.

  The PCG should dissociate themselves from Prof Martey's nonsensical allegations, as a deterrent to other pastors and prophets who talk by heart. PCG should hand over Prof Martey and the PRO to the POLICE since what is coming from the mouth is of concern to national security.
