  Hmmmm....Ghanaweb must stop this: the title to this article was ' Political Bias' and now changed to what appears as ' Is there any political bias in response to Akuffo Addo's promises?'
  The tweaked title suggests my article is addressing all of Akuffo Addo's promises which is not the intent of the current article. The current article is addressing 'the One Village One dam' idea proposition.
  The new title does not reflect the content of the article and makes the author looks like taking sides.

  Your article is empty just like the one-village one-dam promise. Am one of the critics of this policy. Everyone agrees that the way forward in increasing food production and reducing poverty in the north is thru irrigation but to put a dam in every village for irrigation is not possible. How will those dams get water in the dry season? A possible promise is to say every village will have access to irrigation facilities to promote all year round farming. This will not build dams in all villages but cluster dams along water ways/ rivers with extensions to all villages. In addition, boreholes could be drilled in areas where the water table is gud to augment what the dams are providing. I guess this was what Nana meant but perhaps was didn't communicate well or was carried away by crowd or excitement.

We need irrigation schemes to promote farming and the fact that Nana proposition hinges on that gives the impression for something to be done on irrigation. This does not preclude the incumbent from doing same.
  Your comment suggest you have entrenched position which is not good for party politics.

  Cletus, please wake up and realise Ghanaians are quite well informed to differentiate empty campaign rhetorics from realistic development propositions. What's your definition of a village to begin with & how many villages exist in Ghana by your definition? By your own examples, is it not the case that if Nana is serious about development or agriculture for that matter he should be talking of irrigation in concepts of access to water for farming not in such absolutes that are impossible to define, quantify or achieve. Ever heard of SMART objectives? I can't see it in Nana's promise nor your gullible endorsement. Your reference to the seat of government as Jubilee House gives away your partisan if not myopic position on the subject matter contrary to your introductory suggestions of some objectivity or patriotism. Pathetic!
