  All the fighting, both inter-party and intra-party, are just for one thing: the personal benefits that accrue to the victors of the political battle. These people are not fighting for mother Ghana. They are fighting for themselves. A lot of money is involved in this and there's a lot of money to be gained. These guys are willing to die for these benefits. NONE OF THEM IS WILLING TO DIE FOR GHANA!!!
  
  Those that don't have wealth want that wealth. Those like Nduom who have a lot of wealth want the influence and prestige that political office confers. Whichever way you look at it, it is not the love of Ghana that makes them go to such extremes.
  
  When it comes to the love of Ghana, we all love our motherland. Even those of us not indulging in fisticuffs for political office love Ghana too. Indeed we may even love Ghana more. And many of us too know what Ghana should do to become a better nation. But we are not fighting for political office.
  
  Oh, no, we're not learning from the USA. Or rather, we learn only the bad things in their democracy and add our even worse things. The good things - we never learn those ones.
