  Jomo, having read your piece, I think you're having a political swipe at Dr Bawumia. Oh, there's too much noise about Dr Bawumia, but really nothing exceptional as the cleverest of the clever and too little value? And you think that Dr Bawumia being an academic intellectual does not necessarily mean he's made for the game of Ghana's politics. This is political stinging remarks summed up in your piece. And this is my view of your piece, Jomo.
  
  Well, Dr Bawumia's true test, and political value to the NPP will be weighed in the ultimate outcome of 2016 general election.

  A fool, Lonto-boy, is one who fails to learn from past mistakes and thus continue to make mistakes. History thus gives us records of what path we have carved in our past. It us truly sad to see and read PhD worshipping in Ghana that has gotten us nowhere at work. Dr Bawumia is not in Ghana with his mighty credentials because of his love for Ghana but because he loves playing big fish in a small pond. Was he not supposed to have been hired/employed by some transnational African Bank after his shameful display in court and the humiliating loss in 2012? Do you think the bank or his employer has giving him the latitude to do as he pleases on their dime?
  
  The irony with Dr. Bawumia is that he cannot point to a meaningful product he left with or at the Bank of Ghana that still stand today or continues to yield dividend for Ghana;what says he and all you PhD worshippers? Does he have a product or worthwhile handy work out here that leaves footprint for doubters like me?

  If you don't appreciate what Dr. Bawumia has brought to the political scene, decerning minds know what he has brought to the political table. At least, we are discussing economic matters. He has forced the babies with sharp teeth come along. You're not seeing anything he did because of your political lens. Have you so soon forget his prediction that the NDC gov't would run to the IMF for policy credibility? That by the close of the year, the exchange rate would be GHc 4.00 to $1.00? That the NDC gov't is sending Ghana to HIPIC?. When you hurriedly arranged that Dr. Botchway should respond to his first lecture, what happened? He confirmed all what he said. Wait till he heads the economic management team.

  History or whatever you term it Sydney cannot stand the heights reached by Dr Bawumia. They are all from the north so why can he not be like him than to go about the bush jealousy go kill you.
