  Citing economic data and presenting comparative statistics do not actually win elections in Ghana. By the way, whatever happened to Dr Bawumia's statistical analysis? Definitely, NPP's challenge isn't economic data/statistics but the party leadership lacks brutally effective campaign strategy in order to counter NDC's campaign.
  
  In Ghana, the larger majority among voters are 'economically illiterate' so citing unemployment and employment statistics, GDP growth rates and economic forecasts as a tool in a political campaign would not make any meaningful impact in Ghana's electoral politics. How many educated Ghanaians really understand and know the difference between economic facts, a concoction of massaged figures, assumptions and biased assertions about the state of the country's economy?
  
  You don't win elections in Ghana with economic statistics. Nonetheless, you're right in urging Akufo-Addo to up his game.

  The NPP is moving along with a born loser flag bearer who also happens to be clueless. Using deceptive statistical analysis will not help the devious NPP mislead the voting public. The public already knows about your penchant for twisting and your pinksheet statistics will just be more waste of time.
