  I suppose, the fact that in the U.S., where you reside, by the traditions of U.S. Presidents, where the President, who is the Commander-in-Chief of U.S. Armed Forces does not wear a military uniform, if he's never served in military, you simply assume that should be the case in Ghana.
  
  I'm sure the country's military top brass would have advised/talked to President Mahama if they found that to be inappropriate. Who chose the ceremonial military attire for the President? And, who approved it if it was inappropriate/unconstitutional? And why should President Mahama in military uniform be interpreted as a sign of his dictatorship?
  
  The President wore the military uniforms performing ceremonial duties as Commander-in-Chief, exercising the authority granted to him by Ghana's Constitution. And if it aimed at boosting the morale of the country's Armed Forces, it shows he's a huge supporter and certainly good for country's security.
  
  Even in Canada, ex-PM Stephen Harper wore the Canadian Forces flight jacket as a tribute to the military, having never served in the military. In Kenya, President Uhuru Kenyatta was photographed in military uniforms.
