That bushman Ahootan like his lazy-minded mentor Danquah is a complete disgrace to humanity who soaked in a tissue of lies. That boys club UGCC would not fly so they had to engage Kwame Nkrumah who was already making waves in England to assist them. That is the unfettered TRUTH. Nkrumah came, saw and conquered because these little minds were not progressive enough and dragging their feet which is why they went their separate ways within a year after joining them.

As for the big lie perpetuated by Ahootan that the visionless Danquah groomed Nkrumah is like the old believe that the earth was the center of the universe. That has been proven to be a fata morgana or as vague as a mirage. It is a proven fact that it was Ako Adjei who introduced Kwame Nkrumah to the headless pack and it was the business man George Alfred Grant affectionately known as Paa Grant who financed the UGCC. So Ahootan the hater you cannot compare Danquah to Nkrumah neither would you succeed in sullying his great name. History is not made by cynics like Danquah but those who dare to dream like Nkrumah.

A four bed room house owned by the Akyem Kotoku Omankomfour (Chief Fetish Priest), Nana Kwame Appeatu, has been consumed by fire destroying properties worth several thousands of cedis.

The fire which started around 10 a.m, destroyed items including electric machines, phones, cloths, gold jewelry, mattress, and GHC1, 300 physical cash.

The cause of the fire is not immediately. No casualties were recorded.

It took the intervention of personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service to dowse the fire which they battled for nearly 30 minutes.

Nana Kwame Appeatu, who lost virtually every belonging in the fire called on the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), and other public spirited individuals to assist him put his life back together.

If Danquah was politically matured and tactical enough to obtain independence for Gold Coast,I don't see why he should send Ako Adjei to go and beg Kwame Nkrumah in England.Kwame Nkrumah didn't come home because of Danquah in anyway.It was rather Dr Ako Adjei who recommended that Kwame Nkrumah is the right person who can decolonise the Gold Coast from the British.It was again by the help of Paa Grant who made it possible for Nkrumah's return.Let me make it clear here,Danquah did not play any significant role here.The reason is that,Paa Grant paid the cost of the whole expidition,Danquah's pesewa was not in there.Then again by the time Nkrumah arrived in Takoradi in 1947,the UGCC was yet to be formed officially.It was Paa Grant again who sheltered Kwame Nkrumah at his residence in Takoradi not Danquah,let's get it straight.I would have agreed if anybody says Nkrumah disappointed Paa Grant but not Danquah.
I can also say that Danquah was rather jealous of Nkrumah because he started calling names the "varander boy" because Nkrumah didn't have any property.Besides,Nkrumah was much more interested in the workers union leaders who were not very educated to lead the struggle for independence.On the contrary,Danquah believed that the elite should lead the struggle.This is the main reason why Kwame Nkrumah and Danquah could not agree or compromise on stratégies.Danquah being the leader of UGCC didn't like Nkrumah's style of organisation,that was why Nkrumah left the UGCC and form his own party barely 2 years he arrived in the Gold Coast.There is no iota of truth in saying that Danquah groomed Kwame Nkruma.Danquah is not a socialist so in what way is he going to groom Kwame Nkrumah?It doesn't make any sense at all.Thank you.

President Nkrumah cut his teeth on world politics and Gold Coast politics while studying in the USA. Your Busia-Danquah bunch were studying in London but not exposed to much of the beneficiary eye-openings and various freedom-minded personalities that Nkrumah came across or whose works he read voraciously while studying in the USA.

The Danquahs and Offori-Attas did invite Nkrumah to join them in their pursuit of independence for the Gold Coast, but never groomed Nkrumah, for he need no grooming by anyone since he was by now burning with fire for liberation of his motherland and had more in his head than the Busia/Danquag camp. Nkrumah stayed only briefly in the UK, and upon the return of Danquah, Offori-Atta, Nkrumah and others to the Gold Coast, Nkrumah was asked by Danquah and others to join their political party, and he accepted their invitation. It soon became clear to Nkrumah that Danquah and his colleagues at the UP were not interested in immediate independence for the Gold Coast. Nkrumah , who insisted on independence for the Gold "now", left the UP and with help from other independence-minded citizens, formed the CPP and they began their agitation for immediate independence.

Nkrumah and the CPP soon became the favorite and most popular party in the Gold Coast. While the Nkrumah and the CPP were demanding "independence now", Danquah and the UP were asking the colonial British government to delay Ghana's independence because Ghana was not yet ready to become independent. The British colonial government was overwhelmed by the surging popularity of the CPP and its demand for immediate independence, and decided to give in to the demands of Nkrumah and the CPP. Nkrumah was appointed caretaker of the country, and elections were set next set. The CPP and Nkrumah won a resounding victory over the UP, and Nkrumah became Prime Minister upon independence in 1957, and the CPP named the newly independent country, Ghana. Seeing that their party the UP was viewed by many in the new Ghana as traitors and politicians with no vision for trying to have the British delay granting independence to the Gold Coast, the UP began causing mischief in the country, using every opportunity it could get to work with the USA and Britain to undermine Ghana's new government. When these efforts failed, the UP resorted to throwing bombs at Nkrumah and other CPP officials at political gatherings with the intent of killing Nkrumah and causing panic in the country. When this too failed, they pulled out their last trick by conspiring with the CIA to work with Major Afrifa to stage a coup in Ghana in 1866. This coup saw the return of Busia from the UK to Ghana, and Afrifa used his clout in the new military regime to pass decrees that prevented CPP officials from running for office, while making Busia head of the Centre for Civic Development, a position that made him the sole civilian who criss-crossed Ghana as a [politician disguised as a government official. When the military regime left office, the sole viable candidate in the country was Busia, for his competition was not allowed to run for office, thanks to Afrifa.

Professor Luna-Tic Kwasia Okoampa-Ahoofool is a demented and ignorant serial liar and an evil moron who wants to twist Ghana's historical facts to benefit his go slow and do-nothing UP, the same UP that gave birth to the PP of Busia which in turn gave birth to the NPP that we know today. All are a bunch of serial liars, bomb throwers and baby killers turned acid throwers and demented twisters Ghana's historical facts.

Nkrumah was a visionary, while Danquah and his fellow UPP clique lacked any vision. One can safely say that clueless Akufo-Addo inherited his lack of vision from this group. Nkrumah and the CPP were nation builders while Danquah and the UP were saboteurs and nation wreckers.
