Nkrumaism.... is dubious. The hypocrisy is just too much. Are the NDC, the ruling party, really advocating for socialism? Even Russia and China have abandoned the concept..... the State farms, workers brigade, state corporations, dictatorship, oneman show, one party rule etc have no space in any discussion presently. Even the Ghanaian or blackman leadership capability is in doubt. The Nkrumaism concept is bunkum and exist in nothingness.

The resources on the planet were not meant for a few privileged to enjoy at the expense of the majority. Socialism and for that matter, Nkrumah's ideals are so refined and lofty that average minds, spoilt by graft and grandiose taste cannot understand it unless their brains are redesigned.

Systems are interconnected parts working for a joint good .Prof Dompere saw this and equated it to Nkrumahs efforts to unite Africa.Goods and services need a market and the larger the market the better.Thus investors look for large markets for their goods and services (Profit maximization) and economies of scale .Thus a united Africa would have been ideal for investments.We have at the moment micro markets.Can Ghana for example have an aero production facility? No the market would not support it , same with ship buiding.Thus we have constrained ourselves by refusing to maximize our system ,a united Africa .Then bank rates are high in Africa , so limiting borrowing for investment .Prof Dompere needs to be simplified for dimwits like Agbenu

I don't know how this genius manages to write those highly technical, mathematical, and scientific texts, two on the avaerage per year,and still publishes highly technical papers for peer-reviewed journals in addition to his teaching responsibilities, and as a leader in the Economics Department (Howard University).
Of course, he did write some three or so articles on Ghanaweb years back but stopped because he needed to publish rather more in areas and influence those platforms where major scientific decisions are made to shape the world, including Ghana.
