This piece, without doubt, is a brilliant literary display of poetic social satire exposing the grand political conspiracy of our time. It is such a welcome read for sore eyes mutilated by tasteless and odious politically ignorant garbage which has unfortunately become the stock-in-trade of Ghana web.
While we commend Rev. Offei for his exposé the more critical question is what to do with the information we all agree is the truth? I shall not attempt to bash the messenger and measure him by his own message because that is not my business to do. But we must each of us ask the question of ourselves how we have individually helped to establish and perpetuate this state of affairs (and believe me we have!) and immediately begin to remedy the situation.
Rev. Offei has done his duty. Let's go beyond applauding his beautifully crafted poetic reality to becoming the change we yearn for and recognize in his writing.
Oh and I cannot help but recognize the stark relevance of the contents of this piece to the competing philosophies that created the Ghana we live in today; J.B. vs Nkrumah. This struggle of political ghosts and their ideas antithetical still haunt our collective body politic and dictate the course of our lives. I shall leave it at that.
Let's be having more of you Titi.....let it not be said that you're a nine-day wonder poet.

Yes I agree. Well done Bishop. I was really shocked to know that Zanetor Rawlings was not a registered voter in Ghana until she was going to stand for elections when the truth was revealed. And yet since 1992 many of us had joined long lines every four years in the scorching sun to vote in elections in which her father and family had a greater personal interest. And as we laboured to vote her father was kept in power so she could have the best of education outside Ghana. Can I really think far?
