How do you praise this dangerous directive to stop traffic checks in a country like Ghana where armed robbers attack vehicles, rob and kill innocent people on our poor roads day in and day out, snatch cars and commit heinous crimes which is a concern to every patriotic citizen. Again the timing to suspend this very important exercise (at a time the country is heading to the polls is highly questionable.) Only persons with myopic and diabolical mental faculties will see nothing wrong with such an unpopular move by a president and his security agencies.Mr./Miss. concerned Ghanaian, I don't think you are a concerned Ghanaian as you claim to be. Rather,you are an NDC stooge(Nation Destroyers congress}How dare you call yourself a concerned Ghanaian and do politics with this highly dangerous national issue and trying to compare it with Kuffour releasing some drivers who were jailed for committing traffic offenses.?Mr. concerned Ghanaian,can I educate you: traffic offences with the exception of driving under the influence of dangerous substances like marijuana, cocaine, benzodiazepines,texting etc are not considered major offences. The traffic offences you are talking about are therefore called misdemeanor. But threatening to rape and kill judges is a felony yet you are happy that those who did that were released from jail and you call yourself a concerned Ghanaian.   In fact, Nana Akufo Addo is definitely not the alternative to the current president.A candidate who cannot stand constructive criticism and yet claims he is a democrat.Since His excellency was worn in some of you NPP supporters have simply refused to do the most honourable thing by asking Nana why he can not stand criticism and yet hails insults on the president. At least Mahama has a better leadership qualities than Nana. He has been able to keep his party together and working as a unit,despite the all the potent but fruitless attempt by the Nana and his forces to create mayhem through their surrogate organisations such as let my vote count and IMMANI.Secondly he has been able to keep the country together as one piece despite the evil machinations of the NPP.Thirdly the media have had the freedom to operate unhindered,even though some of them have used all means impossible to smear the president, none has been arrested or threatened. Unlike what happened to Bobia Ansah, kwame Nkrumah Tikesie etc and the many brutalities that Nana's men have visited on their own people.
  Mahama has been able to combine his international duties with the local ones as well as his campaign and the lunch of his party manifesto before Nana.
  Nana by 6:30 pm, has finished his campaign even in Accra. His counterpart Mahama could campaign from morning to late in the night in regions outside Accra.
  Nana cannot be compared with Mahama. Mahama is far, far better than Nana in every respect.
  Nana should forget it. He is the albatross on the back of Ghana. His running mate Bawumia have had the responsibility to run down the economy but fails to quantify in monetary terms the damage his press conferences have done to our economy and tell Ghanaians. Celebrants of bad news. They will fail as before. This time round they cannot drop dead bodies as they did in 2000. Very shameful and undesirable elements of out time. political malcontents. shame on you all.
