Dear Authors,
I am not too sure if Serwornoo's problem has to do with the "racist" terminology "Sub-Saharan Africa," a fiercely contested label in cultural/psot-colonial studies, Africology, classical scholarship, political economy, history, evolution and linguistics, anthropology, Egyptology, African/African American Studies, etc., much like the term "Middle East" is also contested in related programs of study today! I have been following this debate for some time now!
On the other hand I strongly suspect, though, that Serwornoo wants to circumvent the substantive issues you guys have been raising in your serial article by finding comfort in the political rhetoric of semantics.
In any case you two do provide him with a more acceptable, or suitable, nominal substitue "South of the Sahara." Those who want to avoid the "racist" term "Sub-Saharan Africa" prefer or use "South of the Sahara" instead!
Does it really matter? I hope this resolves some of his, Serwornoo's cunundrms somewhat.
Thanks for the article and the knowledge you are sharing. I am truly grateful!
Enjoy the rest of the week!

I can't vouch for other institutions of higher learning in Ghana and elsewhere in Africa, but I know the University of Cape Coast does not accept publications in some journals for promotion purposes.
