  Reading your piece and your contempt and hatred for Kwame Nkrumah, either you've scant knowledge of history or you're historically uninformed or simply trying hard to rewrite history. You can't rewrite history or change historical facts! Gandhi's statue didn't stand in the way of your J.B. Danquah. And, University of Ghana, Legon will not be renamed after J.B. Danquah. Perhaps, you might have to consider paying for J.B. Danquah's full-size statue cast in bronze to be erected at Kyebi.
  
  But it is good Mahatma Gandhi's statue has been removed from Legon. Do we need to celebrate and commemorate Mahatma Gandhi in Ghana or Is Gandhi's so important to Ghana, politically, culturally and morally? It's he led peaceful demonstrations and campaigned for civil liberties/rights. But on the basis of his belief that Indians "infinitely superior" to Black Africans, and someone who discriminated on the basis of the Hindu caste system, he can be described as blatant racist.

  What is the difference between Ghandhi and J. B Danquah? Ghandi helped free his people from the British and it was the NPP under Kufour Ghana got to become dependant on India for police vehicles, technology expertise and had the clownish presidential palace built that is well suited for some community in India than Ghana but oh well it is what it is with a backward NPP driven by hate and vindictiveness. And what did Danquah bring to Ghana other than tribal hatred and discrimination based on level of education? Under Ghandhi India practiced cast system where dark-skinned Indian's were at the bottom of society and in Danquah's proposal to the British Ghana would have had a cast system during elections which would have allowed classroom educated but ignorant folks like Danquah himself and his cabal to dictate to the masses so what gives? And because Nkrumah with superior skills thwarted Danquah's bull crap the Danquah-Busia-Dumbo gutter people have continued to hate all things Nkrumah while shamelessly plying and enjoying CPP era legacies. Karma is a bitch, Okoampa-Ahoofe but better you than anyone else.

Disappointing that all the white media outlets that have covered this story did it more justice than Ghana web. Just pitiful.
  
  Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr rambles on with bad grammar for 10 paragraphs with no facts, poorly framed arguments an nothing relevant to say. How is this person "educated" and who gave him a doctorate degree with this abysmal level of scholarship. I am really upset once again that the world gets it right. Black scholars like Professors Akosua Adomako Ampofo and Obadele Kambon get it right. And there is always someone with self hatred who gets the microphone and sets us back 100 years.
