As reported, an airport without a single taxiway for arriving/departing aircraft is not a safe "place to fly". Taxiways provide safe zones where issues with departing/arriving aircraft have a better chance of being discovered, before attempt to take off/enter hangar or parking apron. That includes helping to minimize foreign object damage - from rocks, loose pavement patches, even mechanic equipment negligently lost at repair site on/off the aircraft.
However, a few photos, if they are available, would help in the communication.
