  An outburst of sheer lawlessness. Attempts to deploy "machomen" at polling stations to guard ballot boxes at every single polling station in the Northern Region is clearly unacceptable and unjustifiable. Poor policing should not be basis to call into action of "Machomen". This is a springboard to political vigilantism and raises the risks of widespread disorder, physical confrontation and violence, lawlessness, and threat to our national security.
