According to Rawlings, at that time, Ghana was preparing for a constitutional rule and many people contributed so was Sani Abacha.

We were preparing for constitutional rule in 1991 and 1992 and in January 1993, we had our constitutional President. Abacha gift or bribe to Rawlings was in 1996 so this money could not have been received to help to prepare for constitutional rule.

Secondly, if this money was a legal contribution to help Ghana prepare for a constitutional rule, why did Rawlings and Ndc deny ever receiving this money?

Only idiots and plain fools will defend this. Abacha gave this money, $5 million to Rawlings who was the only Africa leader who defended Abacha after Abacha and Nigeria was thrown out of Commonwealth of nations after Abacha murdered Siro-Wiwa for criticizing him.

So, where is the paper-trail to account for how such an amount was disbursed? Given the fact that whole Generals in the Army were executed, and lifelong Entrepreneurs like Siaw of Tata Brewery had their assets frozen for a much smaller amounts to do genuine business.

The least Rawlings could have done was to file for taxes on the Gift if it were personal, or give it to the State to augment our tight budget.

So, yes! Failing to do either erodes J. J.'s credibility. He has lost his moral qualification to demonize others for corruption while he had that big moral turd in his butt.

You may be friends of the Rawlingses. But these other folks and the rest of are friends of Ghana, even if we were not Citizens, which we are. The Nation's interests, well-being and dignity comes first before the Rawlingses, like it or not.

Nobody asked him to be a revolutionary leader.
