  The disqualification of PPP and NDP was illegal on the basis of both procedural and substantive due process. Even a first year law student knows the decision was illegal. It makes one wonder the EC has a genuine law degree! May be she was so glued to doing the NDCs bidding she forgot about the legality of her hurtful decision.

  Is it not the very Ghana Supreme Court that in 2012 presidential election results case brought by the NPP against the EC and the ruling NDC accepted and heard how agents of the NPP willfully and by design chose to not sign election forms? This fact was not enough for the Justices to throw out the case brought by the NPP and why not? The courts cannot sit to hear a case today that takes the signing of voter role forms by agents of a party to be fundamental while just some years ago, without conscience, did not think it mattered and or are fundamental to coting laws in the country.
  If NPP agents did not sign sheets required of them but used unsigned sheets in most instances to argue a case before the Ghana Supreme Court, then what is the value of a signed sheet by an agent of a political party at ballot station? Either signed sheets matter in law or they do not matter. If they matter, as has been rendered here, then the justices on the court should apologize to the nation for putting us through month of uncertainty of a case that, by the ruling now, had no merit since agents of the NPP did not sign their sheets as a matter of law. NPP agents should have signed those sheets, even with reservation, annotating that they signed with attached protestation which is valid under the law.
