Bravo! Bravo! I always maintain that this Charles Agbenu guy is one of the most intelligent ewe guys am privileged to read his article. My voltarian brother, keep it up. Our hardworking lawyers God will richly bless you. As for EC and the NDC God will surely punish them. With this ruling i can confidently say nana Addo is the next President.

Oh, poor you, you so-called "Change is coming". 'Charles Agbenu' is a corrupt individual; he's not an Ewe by any stretch of the imagination; he's a full-blooded Asante, an impersonator. 'Agbenu' is his pseudonym. I've challenged him before, asking him to name the Ewe town he's migrated from to Asanteland and to name some of the prominent personalities in that town, but he's never been able to do that. I issued the challenge to him when he claimed that his Ewe family moved from Eweland to settle in Asante. What hogwash!
You see, this so-called 'Charles Agbenu' can only fool himself and people like you, for the true Ewes can easily read between the lines of his write-ups and separate the seed from the chaff.
Since Charles didn't or couldn't take up the challenge I issued him a couple of months or so back, I'm seizing this opportunity to once again renew that challenge to him.
'Agbenu', you claim to be an Ewe and that your family moved to settle permanently in Ashanti---AND FOR WHAT? If you're truly an Ewe and migrated to Asante, I challenge you to name the Ewe town you migrated from, the names of the chief/king and some of the prominent citizens of that town and the names of the town in which you settled in Asanteland as well as the name of its chief who must no doubt know that you and your family members are originally Ewes who migrated from Eweland and settled among them. Your failure to respond to this challenge will be proof that you're a liar and very corrupt person, a trademark of the Asantes.

You're unbelievable! What does it matter whether or not he's Ewe or Ashanti? Comment or respond to the issues and stop this infantile challenge to his identity or ethnicity.

You are the most stupid man in the whole universe.Who the hell are you to describe the Asantes as corrupt.
I don't want to insult Ewes because I have many Ewes as friends and also this disgraceful, uncultured, uncivilized and this inferiority complex is not our trademark and masterpiece.
Try to aschew this empty bitterness and jealousy because you can't do anything to relent the forward march or the Asantes as, far as bravery, socio-economic acumen are concerned.
You should broaden your horizons and stop this antique stupidity.

Asem Aba and Collins Anane Bonsu, it's amazing that you see nothing wrong with impersonation, claiming to be somebody one is not and using a pseudonym in order to achieve one's objective. You're a sad lot if you can't understand that that's another form of corruption. And because you don't understand that you'll continue to wallow in it, and so Ghana will never progress! I wonder what kind of education you've had.
Bonsu, your problem is that you live in a fool's paradise and suffer from the disease of superiority complex. You have a false sense of superiority and pathetically suppose that non-Asantes are jealous of you and are bitter because of your so-called 'forward march' in terms of 'bravery and socio-economic acumen'. Where's your bravery? Where has that bravery taken you? What you call bravery I call foolhardiness. And that's the real stupidity!
Let me share with you a brief aspect of Asante-Ewe history that your scholars are too embarrassed to publish in your history books. It's precisely because of the failure of your scholars to document it that people like you are kept ignorant of that history and so you make the kind of stupid and ignorant statement you've made about Asante bravery.
Demonstrating their foolhardiness that was summed up in their war cry, 'Kum apem a, apem beba', the Asantes invaded Eweland upon the invitation of Nana Akoto of Akwamu, their Asante allies, from 1869-73. The Asantes' objective was to re-subject the Pekis under Akwamu yoke that the Pekis had thrown away. For lack of time and space, let me only tell you that your Asante forefathers were annihilated to the embarrassment of the whole Asante nation. Of the 24 army commanders under the leadership of General Adu Bofuor who invaded Eweland, only four survived and returned to Kumasi. The final battle that was fought at Sokode, six miles from Ho, ended in 1873.
You surely must have heard about the Asante's 'Ntam Kesie Miensa' (The Three Great Oaths). The third of these oaths, which says 'I swear Sokode' three times, is the one about the battle the Asantes fought at Sokode and were ruthlessly annihilated in Eweland. Please ask your elders about these oaths and let them explain to you the meaning of the third.
Since most of you are ignorant about this Asante invasion of Eweland and the defeat they suffered in the hands of the Ewes, which invasion is known in Eweland as the Asante war, you keep writing the nonsense like the Ewes inferiority complex and Asante's bravery. I want you to understand that the Ewes are never ever jealous of the Asantes and have never and will never consider the Asantes as being superior to them in any sense whatsoever! Nor will the Ewes ever fear the Asantes. So, stop living in a fool's paradise!!!

Last elections, Joy News and Metro TV and other media houses were collating their results from the polling stations themselves. They provisional results they got weren't different from what EC declared. So pls tell me how the EC could have added any figures if need be? I believe there's enough transparency in the declaration of results right from the polling stations directly that EC can't cook up figures.
Meanwhile party agents in the dteong room sign confirm th results from their agents before they sign the faxed results from the constituencies.
In the supreme court case, the NPP never raised an issue about cooked up results by the EC, different from what they and other media houses had collated.
In conclusion I doubt the EC can rig the elections the way you see it.

THE SUPREME COURT KNOWS THIS BUT STOPS SHORT OF ACCUSING THE OTHER ARM OF GOVERNMENT, THE LEGISLATURE! WE ARE ALL INTELLECTUALLY DISHONESTY SOMETIMES.

It's only those who don't really understand how the electoral systems work in Ghana today still hold the illusion that Ghana's election is riggable. The impulse of Mr Agbenu's article is not to educate but entrench the ignorance of the process as exhibited by most posters on the forum; he's just doing political farming. Refining our electoral process by all stakeholders, the EC, political parties, civil societies, the courts and citizens is not gonna end so long as we choose democracy. To suggest that some reforms or processes amount to a victory or otherwise for one party or the other is pedestrian.
