Why can't we think for once that even siblings from the same womb have their differences and that doesn't make them enemies. Israel is true that you don't understand why or you know it but you are missing it. They are saying that Voltarians only vote to put people in government but after that government doesn't do anything for them in terms of development projects. However I don't take this to be true. Volta Region like all other regions gets its share of the National Cake. It's only those who are seeing but pretending not to be seeing who say this. It is about time that we come to understand that government cannot use all the scarce resources she has on the development of only one region. Such scarce resources must be evenly distributed. Those in the Volta Region and understand this will always vote for the NDC because it doesn't make it voter region. Like you rightly mentioned in your piece I there to say that government does not use all the resources on the development of the Ashanti or Eastern Region but the voting in these two regions do not see any significant change or no charge at all anytime there is election. It is a sorry situation that Volta Region should be tagged as voter region.

THUS IN ASANTE AND EASTERN YOU ARE LIKELY TO HAVE 60 VOTES FOR NPP AND 40 VOTES FOR NDC. Lets face that truth.
Also I ask my Voltarians if Ketu/ Tongu get 80, 000 and 90, 000 votes constantly where are the people when it comes to revenue generation? The Ketu/Tongu assemblies are perpetually broke.
. On the other hand the Bantama/Tafo assemblies in Kumasi who also vote 80, 000 and above have substantial revenue figures to confirm their huge voting figures.

First of all,Tongu does not give 80,000/90,000 votes to any political party,and there is no constituency in Ghana called Tongu or Ketu,get the correct names of the constituencies before you write.
For your information,government does not levy the people for you to ignorantly base revenue generation on population of the people,businesses pay tax to the district assemblies not individuals who are either farmers,fishermen or those without jobs.
What you must also know is the demographic of the people,if you don't know,the Eastern region and the Ashanti region are more diverse than the Volta region,the Eastern region is not for only Akans but also for Ewes and Ga-Adangbes and many Guan speaking towns which makes the voting pattern looks different from Volta region.
There is also no assembly called Bantama/Tafo in Ghana,check your facts well.
