Mahama is simply desperate hence has lost his usual composure that has drawn some admirers to him. Nana Addo will be the last person to even dream of destooling any chief in Ghana. First of all, Nana is a royal from both paternal and maternal lineages. Secondly he is NANA. Thirdly he is an astute lawyer who has imbibed the constitution of Ghana. Mahama on the other hand is an ordinary Gonja with no royal roots.

Mike Oquaye must stop lying about Nkrumah and claiming sainthood for his evil driven Danquah-Dombo ideology that held Ghanaians lives to ransom with prolonged threat of terrorism over the People.

The Chiefs who Nkrumah targeted took a secular political stand by blatantly allying with his Opposition that was bent to kill him and his vision for the Gold Coast transitioning into Ghana.

At least, Oquaye acknowledges Nkrumah did not break any Law by even doing so, because the Constitution at the time allowed Nkrumah to approve of or disapprove of a Chief's installation to a Stool.

Meanwhile, plenty of evidence exists to counter Oquaye's claim that the NPP antecedent, PP, under Dr. Busia and its pre-Election facilitating conveyor-to-Power, and Military Dictatorship, the NLC, destooled many Chiefs.

I recall, in particular, a protracted effort to destool Nana Kwaku Frimpong Manso of Kukuom under those Regimes.

Many Chiefs in the Brong Ahafo Region were destooled for repelling the pressure to join the Ashanti Confederacy and abandon their autonomy as Paramount Chiefs to serve under the Asantehene, even though they had won the legal battles to reclaim their freedom from the subordination to the Asantehene that the British had forced upon them.

So, Mike Oquaye must quit his mendacious attempt to re-write our History, like his fellow NPP Don and Professor of Fiction Writing, Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr.
