  Professor we the people of Accra will not vote for npp. Ken Agyapong don't respect us and wanted us to be killed. Nana addo said npp is an Akans party so I am surprised you are still following a dictator and divisive leader who incite the youth to kill each other for him to become a leader. I mean all die be die man. Yaw sarfo marfo said Gas northerners and Ewes should not be elected as president so you and bawumia are in the wrong party. The npp posture smell of defeat. We all know that the npp will be defeated. All these nonsense about the EC must stop. The npp must stop bastardising every institution of the country. We are tired of the falsehood and because of that we all defected to the Ndc. We want nana addo to lose so we can all come back and rebuild the party. We don't want wee smokers and divisive leader to rule our beautiful country. The ndc is not a divisive party so we will vote for them. JM toasu wai

A law professor is arguing his case against what the EC Commissioner intends to do which is not lawful and a nonentity like someone who is afraid to write under his real name comes out with a farce.
  Ghana has gone ahead of using tribalistic tendencies to woo electorate to win elections. Gone are the days when "eyes were not opened" so Ndc fanatics and so called honourables used tribalistic citations to woo our brothers and sisters from the North and the Volta region.

Mike Ocquaye not only showed his ignorance but lifted the sheet off to expose a thoughtless, ignorant but presumed educated class in Ghana who sat and continue to sit in our parliament. On one hand we have NPP's Arthur Kennedy write about his hopes to see America continue to be the beacon for democracy and on the other hand we have Mike Ocquaye write this class one level letter in opposition to an idea and ideal the EC chair, Mrs Osei is hoping to implement.
  I believe that American election process has built-in safeguards where when the ballot figure difference between the Victor and nearest competition is a percentage point, the votes do undergo automatic recount in most cases. But because recounts cost local government money some will not oblige standing recounts unless court ordered so there is official reasons to append additional ballot costs to budgets. Competitors seek help from American courts when the difference in ballot count is above the prescribed threshold or officials are reluctant to recount and there are extenuating circumstances. Knowing how corrupt and desperate the NPP is for power this time around it is more likely to see ballot officials in NPP strongholds like the Ashanti and eastern regions look the other way, get intimidated or collude with local officials to stuff ballot boxes or a desperate NDC trying to hang on to power resort to ballot stuffing in toss up regions. Instead of accepting the decisions from the smart EC chair woman Mike Ocquaye wants to go to the courts that has Supreme ignorance for Justices to render unwise decisions again. Let me give you, Agyenco and Mike Ocquaye, simple food for thought. The EC is privy to registered voters in each precinct. What must the EC do if the counts from districts show numbers that exceed registered voters or show unreasonable suppression of votes for one party or the other, knowing the results are contrary to data, practices and logic? To Mike Ocquaye the EC must stay mute and allow fraud to reign Supreme because it's Ghana style elections and we must expect levels of stupidity and sham even while calling our elected officials from a dishonest election results as democratically elected. This can be the end game for the NPP and NDC but cannot be allowed for the EC.

  Abeeku have you bothered to read the whole CI, the. Legislative instrument that defines election procedure in Ghana.
  Please don't belittle yourself because you are not dealing with illiterate folks.
