  Yes, majority of Ghanaians may want the activation of the Death Penalty. However, it's unlikely to be activated by any Government/President for fear of UN, EU, Donor Countries, Human Right organisations internationally.

  I will activate the death penalty today if I had the power to do so.The abolition of the death penalty in most european countries especially here in the UK has turned murder into an everyday sport,especially among teenagers.The argument that the death penalty does not stop people being murdered and that the possibility of killing an innocent person always exists is untenable.The death penalty deters,it is not meant to stop people being murdered altogether.It is just like jailing somebody who steals.Jailing a thief does not stop stealing.And the likelihood of jailing a person who has not stolen is also there.Why should a person who deliberately takes a person's life be spared the same punishment he has meted out to his fellow human being?There is nothing wrong with the death penalty-it rights a wrong and it deters.Where the guilt of the murderer is in doubt the doubt must be resolved in favour of the murderer but where there is no doubt the death penalty must be fully applied.I am willing to press the execution button to execute a person found guilty of willingly taking somebody's life and those against the death penalty,those appeasers of murderers can go to hell.

  Those advocating for the abolition of the death penalty are just evil and doing the devil's job of legalizing evil on earth.If the death penatly does not deter murders will jailing murderers deter murders?Long custodial sentences are not the answers too.Is it right to take somebody's life and you to remain on earth to enjoy life?Is it right for the taxpayers money to be spent on those who do not value the lives of their fellow citizens?What makes serial killing possible?All because unrepentant murderers are allowed back into the society to carry on murdering.This is what those against the death penalty want our societies to be.They should bow down their heads in shame.They are just evil.
