  The correct phrase is "positive CRIMINOLOGY" (not CRIMINALITY).

Schizophrenic doomsday prophesier, Owusu Bempah wakes up after Kennedy Agyapong, a stupendous psychobabble of a narcissistic politician and legislator, and asks the public to burn down his church if Akufo-Addo, the Machiavellian Merlinesque deity of the former’s [Owusu Bempah] twisted religious psephocracy, does not win the upcoming general elections" I mean, what is this? So is there no sensible adult in Kwarteng's home to advise him on how to access, evaluate and address his audience? Trust me not even Prof Lungu or Andy K would be enthused with this useless' jargon' of the 14th century medieval English.
  He even made a joke of himself when he made this logically flawed and incongruous analogy:"That congregation of souls is even called the Body of Christ. Can the Body of Christ be burnt down?"   Check this out: "What crime category should the police consider for the special case where Owusu Bempah’s church is burnt down in the event that Akufo-Addo loses the general elections? Should it be considered arson, an act of patriotism and of humanism, terrorism, or an act of love? Or of oblation?" A little knowledge in Criminal Justice or Public Administration would have informed Prof Kwarteng that , first of all, the Church in contention is not Public Property; it is a bona-fide private property of Owusu Bempah. And, therefore, the police has no business whatsoever to cause any arrest and profer charges if Bempah fails to lodge a formal complaint or press charges against anyone. BTW I must throw this caution to Kwarteng and the NDC fool Soldiers who may make want to pick the bait; they could be landed in jail. Owusu Bempah is a criminal who could turn the tables against them.

  It is always because you do not read my articles with the depth it demands. There are just enough underlying assumptions this article has that have prevented you from making the kind of conclusions some of you make after reading my articles.
  
  First off, I tried to look at "church" as a spiritual metaphor and as a literal phenomenon where "church" represents a congregation of "souls."
  
  At least "soul" is difficult to define in material terms though it is believed by some to be clothed in human body.
  
  So, the rather interesting assumption here is, what if some church members of Owusu Bempah eventually get burnt in the course of his church also being burnt down?
  
  In this case, does Owusu Bempah have to report the matter to the police before any burnt body can be investigated?
  
  Or do we have to wait for Owusu Bempah (if he has traveled abroad, say) to return and report the matter to the police (even to the Fire Service).
  
  What if Owusu Bempah wants to use his prophecy (and his statement to the effect that his church should be burnt down should Akufo-Addo not win the general elections) to get back at some church members he has problems with?
  
  What if any of his churches that happens to be burnt down is in close proximity to a sensitive public property...hospital etc., say?
  
  What if Owusu Bempah is away and a passer-by, say, notices "strange" persons setting any of his churches on fire and alerts the police or any of the branches of the Ghana National Fire Service?
  
  Should the police or the Ghana National Fire Service, for instance, be involved should any of Owusu Bempah's church being burnt down because a passer-by reported suspicious persons setting that church on fire?
  
  In other words should the police or the Ghana National Fire Service be involved somehow to possibly save lives/property or ignore this scenario because neither institutions does not care about human life/property?
  
  Are you saying every private citizen has to file a report with the appropriate authorities, such as in the case of a private property being burnt down, before action is taken to save lives and/or property?
  
  What kind of Criminal Justice or Public Administration is this? So, the police and fire service departments should allow private properties to go down in flames if their "private" property owners do not lodge formal complaints with the police?
  
  What if human lives are lost? How do insurance companies get involved if such properties are insured? What if a police or fire service personnel is the passer-by who observes these suspicious persons setting this church on fire and reporting it to the appropriate properties?
  
  Do you have any idea what it means if private properties get burnt down and for one reason or another, they are not investigated because their private owners do not file formal complaints with the appropriate authorities?
  
  Anarchy. Think about all the scenarios...lives, sensitive private and public properties, etc., that could be lost. It is in the public interest that a thorough investigation be done to forestall future loss of lives, etc. Of course we also all know that in Ghana many such investigations end up nowhere.
  
  Remember that Owusu Bempah does not have to formally report this matter should any of his churches be burnt down. The police department and the fire service folks are already aware of the challenge he threw to the public.
  
  What happened to Bishop Obinim when he disciplined his own adopted children on tv? Did private and public citizens not file formal reports with the appropriate authorities?
  
  Can a figure who works with the police or the fire service department do similarly if he or she sports suspicious persons set any of Owusu Bempah's church on fire?
  
  Let us just also add that, for the sake of argument, Owusu Bempah passes away intestate at the very moment any of his church is suspiciously set ablaze?
  
  What if he even passes away "testate" but that his "will and testament" covering his churches become the subject of probate (in which case it is forensically ascertained that the churches are not even his but the members of his congregation)?
  
  Do you think it is also likely that church Owusu Bempah will file a formal complaint if he sets any of his church ablaze?
  
  Think hard about all these scenarios. You are lost because you did not take the totality of the underlying assumptions into consideration. You do this all the time whether or not it is my article you comment on. You need a little critical reading skills.
  
  Of course, you are not the only one. Most of the comments I see under my article are way off. In other words they have absolutely nothing to do with my article.
  
  Notwithstanding all the above, I will insist that burning down his church will not prove a damn thing. He could burn down his own church or hire someone to do it in the even that Akufo-Addo does not win.
  
  Don't forget that Ghanaians also have short memories. They would have long forgotten his challenge to burn down his church by the time the election is over and Akufo-Addo has lost the elections.
  
  NOTE:
  
  By the way, I am not saying Akufo-Addo will lose the upcoming general elections. Anything at all can happen. I am only saying what I am saying in light of Owusu Bempah's prophecy. I have to say this because readers like you cannot always read between the lines.
