The Council of Nicea consisted of not only the leaders of Christianity from Alexandria, Antioch, Athens, Jerusalem and Rome but also the leaders of many cults, sects and religions, including Apollo, Demeter, Dionysus, Osiris and Sol Invictus. The purpose of the Council was to unify the various competing cults under one universal "Catholic church, which will be controlled by Constantine and Rome.
