  Common roads,houses and railway lines we can't do it but import people from other country to come and do it for us.It is a shame and we brag that we have best universities in the world and cannot even construct common road and railway lines.Are we inferior people or we were born fools?what is the use of education if we cannot do anything for ourselves?NDC is not good for our country.

  A well written paper exposing the irrelevancy of our education system, painfully illustrated by Elena Thompson & many others who can't distinguish the difference between Lose and loose. Mahama is losing big time. It is incorrect to say Mahama is loosing big time. "Loose weight", we are constantly reminded by many who don't know they're wrong.
  
  Yes, I agree with you that "...the world 's realities and education must converge ", however, your piece did not offer any tangible reasons for increasing the use of meters in our schools. You resorted to the usual Ghanaian penchant of casting blame.
  
  Mr. Bond blames the NDC for not being good for the country, and Mr. Anis Haffar blames our Ph. Ds.
  
  You stated whether "it will be too far fetched to ask our Ph. Ds in the applied sciences - massive titles & research credentials to boot - not work with their science students to attempt to produce these ubiquitous gadgets?"
  
  Of course, it does not make sense to import all these meters into Ghana; and one doesn't have to have a Ph. D to increase our energy usage in our education system for the ubiquitous gadgets. Aren't there technicians in the county who can install solar panels in our schools?
