  Over the course of some three weeks before elections in Ghana the NPP and surrogates like Martin Amidu have pulled any and all stops to discredit the current president by taking pages out of the playboy of the Donald Trump led Republican party in the USA. Unfortunately the NPP has been disgraced in every turn where Trump succeeded.
  The latest shame was brought to the doors of the NPP when the NPP Ashanti chairman Wontumi concocted a trap to blame the NDC on some fake voter forms left behind in a hotel room rented by Wontumi's personal assistant. The shame of it is that the Kumasi NPP leader is willing to tarnish the brand of a Kunadi hotel while the NPP pretend to be business friendly party. And late last week we heard from the Northern regional chairman of the NPP, Mr. Bugri Naabu claiming that gifts he received from the older brother of the current president was an attempt to bribe him. It's a joke plain and simple even if NPP party members everywhere including you, Dr. Okoampa-Ahoofe, are dumb to fall for it. Here is some common sense explanation for you Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe. If Bugri Naabu has been buying and driving expensive cars since his days as a Tamale airport employee and self sufficient at it why the hell would he have accepted previous gifts from the Mahama family, conveniently complain about the Mahama family having ignored him when the president got to the presidency and yet when given gifts after his complaint imply the gifts were attempted bribes from the Mahama family. Folks a pattern is developing here that stinks to high heaven. And just about the same time, the disgraced Atta-Mills era AG, Martin Amidu, is busy going around blaming the president for the Woyome saga. Did we not get the Woyome saga because of a Kufour era botched attempt at circumventing a government open bid system? If we had a decent legal system and a competent parliament whose members were not neutered, Kufour could have been impeached for unilaterally handing a contract to a Chinese government owned company to renovate stadiums in Ghana without a legally submitted bid process. Of course we all know of how the one and only economic guru of the NPP, Dr. Bawumia, has been going around attempting to provide a cost estimate for every transaction of the current government when he could not and has not provided a cost, estimate or actual, of what he spent to devalue the Ghana cedi even if some call it a conversion exercise. Oh how I know a dumb NPP voter public will buy the bull from every NPP corner while the truth is staring them in the face.
