I will definitely go for Cocainomics if this flawed and illogically poor written piece of Kwarteng is of any relevance to the discerning minds out there. The benefits of exporting Cocainomics from athe coast of a subsaharan poor state like Ghana to ,say the US, far far outweigh and overide Woyonomics where loot and share to line the pockets of lazy Trokosis is the norm.

I am against the petty peddling of cocaine in Ghana but careless this contraband is exported to the Criminal West. Only God knows the millions of dollars Amoateng, the former Nkoranza MP, would have brought to the nation if he had succeeded in his underworld trade. Donald Trump will call this 'smartness'.

Cocainomics, just like cocoa export, brings foreign currency to expand an ailing economy like ours while Woyonomics actually drains and shrinks same. Only confused reprobate will choose Woyonomics - the stealing from the poor taxpayer - over Cocainomics - the smart underwold trade that has help economic giants like China, US.... to gain recognition in the world.

Now the flaw. Per Kwarteng's own argument, Woyonomics is a clear case of looting from the public purse but he foolishly veered off track and accuse the Npp of stealing, a proposition which does not support Cocainomics. Come again, Ofui!

In my view, the NPP is the better of two evils!

2. As to "[t]hat anti-Brodingnagian man with the off-putting Locally Acquired Foreign Accent (LAFA), Akufo-Addo....", Kwarteng's view is just rubbish. How does Nana's England-acquired English accent become LAFA? In case Kwwarteng doesn't know, Nana went to High School in England and returned there again for his law training. It is a well-established fact that young immigrants easily assimilate into the adopted country's culture, including acquiring the native accent. Assimilation is more difficult for adults. However, upon returning to their native country, returnees, including even those who emigrated when young, gradually lose the sharpness of their foreign-acquired accent as they re-assimilate into their native cultures.
