  Let us go back to the very beginning of creation before sin came into being " It is written and God said, Let us create man in our own image and likeness Gen 1 ,meaning let us make man out of us to share that which we have, be a part of us - This is called Relationship. God desires to have a deep intimate relationship with each person that He created in His own image. God birthed relationship from the very beginning and not religion. Jesus warns us to beware of the yeast of the religious.
  Isn't it questioning and sad that thoes who called themselves religionists and scholars of the word( Pharisees/ Sadducess) did not recognized the One they spent most of their life's studying about when He came to dwell amongst men. This was so because they only knew about God but they never knew Him.
  Religion only "knows about God"
  Relationship "knows "God.
  Religion is a creation of man and not of God.
