Ahoofe's first business of the day after the elections should have been to apologise to Mrs. Charlotte Osei for his relentless attack on her character, sometimes even suggesting she got her job by lying in the horizontal position for somebody in authority. We all remember his persistent calls: "Charlotte Osei must go... and now!" Well she proved she got her job because she was capable and deserved it.

When all is said and done, even Ahoofe ought to be proud of how resolutely she handled this election. All of us must be proud of her, including pie-in-his-face Ahoofe.

I don't want to hear in a few months and in a year or two, Mahama did this and that and so and so; SO WHY I YOU CRITICAL OF NANA AND BAWUMIA?

Nana is president, so these are his problems now and he should fine solutions as he said he will. He said he is competent and capable, so I will give him that for the next few months, and if he and Bawumia don't deliver, I will be critical, just as I have been with political leaders who fail to keep their promises for the good of Ghana.

I hope I don't have to start writing to mention failures, shortfalls and disappointments. I wish Nana and Bawumia godspeed and the best for Ghana. BUT I WILL BE WATCHING AND TAKING NOTE.

Irrigation of the Accra plains for large scale farming must be a priority the next administration. How long shall we continue to import huge quantities of rice into the country? Just hoping Nana Addo will fulfil his campaign promises. The one district, one dam; one district, one factory; one million dollars for each constituency; and the free SHS concept are good promises we expect the NPP administration to fulfil. Ghanaians will never accept any excuses. It our duty as patriotic citizens to assist Nana Addo the President Elect to succeed. I think the NDC have learned a good lesson. And what we know also is that as the results keep trickling in the EC certifies it and announces them, I mean constituency by constituency so that we're kept updated by constituency results and with the current EC nothing was forthcoming coming, else could have been a recipe for chaos so I believe that that was when the EC and the losing party were trying to effect the unthinkable.
