  What happened was the gross attempt by the NPP, through Samuel Awuku, to stampede the EC to announce results which she didn't have, quite against all the laid down procedures agreed between the parties and the EC! I was shocked by what I saw watching MyJoy, which by its certified results then, had Mahama in the lead.
  
  Then in stepped the NPP claiming by their results received from their polling agents, they had won and the EC should declare the results! Wow! That was completely lawless and gross! That's what sensible and truly peace loving Ghanaians should be writing about and be condemning.
  
  Not only that, they started making threats and calling on their supporters to go on the streets. Those lawless actions were the things that put the country on edge, not any delay in announcing the elections results!
  
  Any attempts to explain this otherwise, as some of you are doing, just as Daniel Pryce also did, and a creep who told me on Thursday that the EC was delaying the results because he was sleeping with Mahama, are simply being dishonest or intellectually bankrupt! A lot of things must be in place before the EC face the national and international press to announce the results even if it was clear the winner had a margin of 20%.
  
  If you blokes don't know anything about electoral practices, why try to write on the subject?

  "Our electronic transmission was not even coming. You key in, and the figures will change. You key in and the figures will change. Then we said no, we can't go on with this. Let's abandon it.
  
  "The good thing was that was not the primary source. So it was good for us to abandon it.
  
  "The only problem was that it caused us some delay.

  Where was the electoral results delay?. The irresponsible NPP announcement of the results is what put the country on edge. The NDC anf the whole of Ghana waited patiently for 9months to settle an election dispute in 2012 yet the irresponsible NPPcould not wait for 72hours as agreed by all parties and the electoral commission to declare them winners.The hypocrisy of all is that individuals and organisations were puting pressure on the President to concede when no official results were out. When Nana refused to concede in the 2012 elections opting for a long legal tussle, the same people calling on the President today to concede described him as a man of peace for causing voilence. No one put pressure on Nana and the NPP to concede in 2012 why?. Are they a special brand of Ghanaians?. This hypocritic stance is what discourage people even at our work places and reduce productivity delaying the development of the country.
