I don't understand why the fees differ so much. Who set those fees and charges? Is a shame really. Those of us who are so proud to be Ghanaians and have no intentions swapping nationalities have to go through this mess.

We should not forget that the Ghanaians we leave behind, are the same we encounter everywhere. So it comes down to the same thing. Character, lifestyle, mannerisms, etc.

Too bad..and I heard they have changed the passport duration from 10 to 5years. .What is the meaning of this?So u apparently have to go thru all these shit every 5years?

Oh yes they never answer calls.why do they even have telephone numbers?Email too no answer..what is that?..You are on foreign soil to help Ghanaians and not just ride on us

This is a long standing "incompetence" at the foreign ministry, since 2015 which affected the Mahama government. It is surprising you just got to know or tactically refused to complain only after the elections. It is old news ...

As you can see it have been over a year and you are still being told the same excuses about biometric passports.
Just like the abysmal lose in the December 7, 2016 elections and someone like Kofi Adams continue to blame it on the IT system and not the "team B & C" that Spio Garbrah talked about since 2012.
It did not take anyone to predict an NDC lose since it was no more rocket science. Hannah Tetteh was not competent and needed to go because she became ineffective for the job. Such that George Andah told her she will lose even her constituency. To call her bluff and arrogance.
Maybe in her youth he did well but post menopause is causing her to malfunction, as she gets early agitated.
If you Google search this title of an article, "New Ghana Passports delay in Washington DC" in the beginning of the year.
You will realize that it has been so for a long time.
The very Friday this article was on ghanaweb, there was similar complain and rioting at Accra passport office reported by graphic or joyFM online.
Hopefully your suggestion to the incoming Nana Add will continue forward but always watch his back about the crooks he might be wooing with. Those are the ones whose incompetence will be called his cause him to lose in 2020.
