  I must congratulate you for the beautiful article. You are perfectly right that diplomats thread carefully to earn respect. On the other note there is something called PNG. I have seen countries use it over and over again on diplomats that cross the line. The President or the MoFA received Jon's credentials and can easily PNG him from Ghana. I believe you personally have some issues with him however the president of Ghana and or MoFA do not see him trip wiring here. If they do, they would have rejected him.
  Secondly, diplomats turn to retaliate by doing in the form of a payback. For instance diplomats luggages are not supposed to be checked in the country they are assigned to. If the host country disobey this rule set up by the Vienna convention, they can retaliate without any repercussion. The president office or MoFA can also present what we called Demarche to Jon and UK embassy in Ghana rebuking Jon's behavior. As individual you can also visit UK embassy in Ghana to present a petition to the RSO or the PAS office about your dissatisfaction of Jon's behavior.
  Save us time here because majority of us here do not have time for the guys behavior. We are more concern about what we gonna eat today or medicine for our sick kids and less worry about UK diplomat mocking Ghanaian outgoing president.

  Presidents come and go.Inaugurations come and go. But Jon will always be Jon: down to earth, insightful and fun loving.

  It is refreshing to read an article of this sort, coming from a Joy FM journalist, considering their penchant for writing very bad things about Ghana to the BBC and others. Now they are worried this tren will continue when their beloved party takes over so they are fighting their partner in crime, Jon Benjamin. We live to see. I have to use the jon now.
