Even OA charges very moderate prices for both tickets and baggage. Its high time we wised up and stood up against such blantant daylight thievery.

I suggest ticketing can be computerized, e-ticketing bought from well known shops like melcom or even banks as it's done even in south Africa. This automatically eliminates the activities of these unscrupulous tags.

The prices of the tickets should be adjusted to include a levy for luggage with well laid down policies to accommodate fragile goods being transported. In south Africa with exception of fragile (electrical appliances) which have special rates all normal luggage costs are already included in the ticket cost.

This will eliminate the unnecessary argument between passengers and these 'tags'.

Check in should be done at least 15mins before where extra luggage can be weighed and priced. These are to be done by officials, drivers and their conductors.

Lets bring the positives we've learnt/experienced home and stop just criticizing the systems without inputs

Now one can stay in his or her room and transfer money from his or her account from anywhere to anywhere. If VIP will introduce the online ticketing, all these corrupt practices will not a place. I therefore urge the management of the VIP to start emulate other countries using online ticketing methods.

Thank you so much for this article as 5 of us from America will be coming 2 Ghana and traveling from Accra to Kumasi around May 2017. This article alerts me to the fact that we have to be careful about being taken advantage of because we will be new to the country as we visit for two weeks. Although this is one person's experience I have heard then this type of Engagement is comMon. As five Ministers of the Gospel this is disappointing and disheartening because we come to be a blessing and we will have to exercise caution because of a few wolves in sheep's clothing.
