Manasseh's mentality is wholly summarized in this piece where he sees the relationship between Ghana and the countries he mentioned as a boy master relation. Of course he has been conditioned by that stereotype because of his many years in that subservience state so I see where he is coming from,but to say that we depend on these countries without looking at the proper analysis begets belief.

What he must know is that aid disbursements from those countries to our country is dwarfed by wealth flows that run in the other direction, to the point where countries like ours are effectively developing rich countries, but here is Manasseh with a narrative that is contrary to the reality.

He seemed to have found a negative voice against his own country,supporting foreign agenda and interests just because they( foreign governments) sponsor his cushy trips abroad.

Even assuming there is merit in what Manasseh is erroneously proclaiming,it is wrong for a diplomat to e so careless in his language and to tell a proud country like us what is right and wrong as if we are kids and Manasseh is supporting that weirdness.

Why do we always console ourselves that the western world are taken our wealth away? Do you mean shipping your raw materials to them for a finished goods is taken something from you? I think it is about time we stop running around making those statements and look forward to doing something for ourselves. The only people stealing from Africa are the politicians and their families. I get so pissed anytime i read such statement from African after the western world had dashed out millions of the taxpayers money to stupid and good for nothing politicians in Africa.

You are the FUNNY one, not Manasseh because the latter made a case against known corruption at the leadership level such as SADA, Bus Branding, Ford Explorer-Contract swap controversy, senseless Montie trio release from prison etc...He could have cited more goofs, but he chose to mention the least.

If you can dispute those contentious issues with conviction, you are free to do so, otherwise Manasseh's argument does not only remain objective but FACTUAL and stands undisputable like the 170 economic challenges thrown to Vice- President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, by DR Mahamadu Bawumia, which is begging for a response.

I cahallenge you to make your case, albeit a factual and coherent one disputing what Manasseh has put out rather than being personal and sarcastic without any intellectual discourse.

Enough of nonsense and insults. Did you understand how Manasseh explained the Office of the Presidency away from The President? The former maintains a given respect, but the latter has to EARN it. If you still don't understand then rush to register for lessons in analytical reasoning otherwise known as LOGIC.

If we also want to assess people individually, including Benjamin, we'll have a lot of bad news to tell. We also have our challenges in Ghana, and that should not give anyone the audacity to insult or abuse our president. My father is not perfect, and so are many fathers. If anyone insults my father because of his perceived imperfections and I'm around, I'll prepared to reply in equal measure and if possible give that person a dirty slap. If I were near Benjamin, I would have probably given him a sound dirty slap for his gross disrespect to my president.

My only hope is that he keeps his job for a while because if he ever losses that job, he will find it very difficult to get one. There is a level of secrecy in every institution and society but this idiot coming out of a very poor shell and getting opportunity to work has forgotten the cradle in which he was born and thinks he can open his village mouth to any degree to insult people simply because of a visa to travel. it will be good for him to change his nationality because he will very soon be disappointed after January 7th 2017. They behave as if they have not traveled before. What is an interchange? We drive on countless number in different countries every day, so why the fuss and hullabaloo about? If the very diplomats whose countries dole out millions in funds for our corrupt Mahama to squander on uselessly insane stuff he will call infrastructure whereas the hinterlands that remain the apex of survival wallow in abject neglect, is Jon Benjamin not right to call him the fool that he is (even if he said so)? Mahama could not even offer a straightforward answer on BBC when asked whether he has taken bribe before. Of course he was surprised at the question but did he think the host was as idiotic as he was? So the NDC hypocrites will foolishly go on the rampage because some truth got told (or was it a miscue?) My confusion and question is, is respecting the elderly or if we like our leaders negotiable ? Must we respect them because that is what we have been taught by the sacred books to do or must they always earn our respect by exhibiting decent behaviours only ? Some of us on this platform are either parents or potential parents and I ask this question, would it be fair for your kids to disrespect you for misbehaviour as an infallible being? Dont we make unpardonable mistakes consciously or unconsciously? must we be disrespected because a human being has commited a blunder?
