Dear writer, i did not see your face while you were writing this piece, but reading between the lines, i can clearly tell that your piece was fuelled by a very deep emotional attachment to some of the victims of Rawling's "great purge".
It is very true that some of his methods were very inhumane, but tell me, what is more inhumane han hoarding foodstuffs and inflating its price when people are dying of hunger?
Its very evident that your piece is well presented but very biased in favour of the unlawfully-dealt-with wrongdoers. If i am not wrong, i can boldly say that a very proximal relation was a victim of Rawling's methods and i am very sorry about that.
Nonetheless, the man is still in my point of view, one of the most patriotic and selfless Ghanaians i have ever seen, heard of or known.

For those 35 years and under, this is our true story.
JJ and Thomas Sankara were some of the students of Qaddafi, the style of governance of his PNDC government was similar to that of Qaddafi as written in his Green Book. Their trade mark was blood shed to remove all opposition. Till date, there has been no mention of how much money his victims steal and in which bank they kept their money and how much was retrieved.
JJ was smart to make a quick U-turn and by stepping aside in time otherwise he would have ended up the same way Qaddafi did.
