  WHAT ABOUT THE OPEN LETTER! WHO MADE HIM LEADER OF THE YOUTH IN GHANA? HE IS ENTITLED TO WRITE WHATEVER, THIS IS A DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY, BUT WHAT EXACTLY WAS CONTAINED IN THE LETTER? NOTHING OF SUBSTANCE! IT WAS AN ATTEMPT AT SELF AGGRANDIZEMENT! THIS IS NOT FROM AN NDC SUPPORTER WHO IS JUST ENVIOUS, FROM A FELLOW WHO SEES THESE ARTICLES FROM SUCH PEOPLE AS A WAY OF BEING NOTICED. THERE ARE DIFFERENT YOUTH GROUPS IN GHANA, THEY CAN ALL WRITE FOR THEMSELVES!

GHANAIANS DID NOT VOTE FOR NANA AKUFO ADDO AS A PERSON WITH THE CHARACTER, ABILITIES, VISION, UNDERSTANDIN AND RESPECT FOR DIFFERENCE MORE OR BETTER THAN MAHAMA. NANA AKUFO-ADDO HAPPENED TO BE THE LEADER OF THE MAIN AND BIGGER OPPOSITION PARTY SO HIS WIN. HAVING SAID THAT WE MUST ALL RALLY AROUND HIM TO MOVE GHANA FORWARD.

  Really, the socio-economic issues of Ghana are so many that we don't even know where to start my brother.
  
  when I compare south Africa's economic and social development status to that of Ghana, it is a shame to be a Ghanaian really!
  
  We are calling for change change but what kind of change?
  
  let's take a look at South Africa; the government pays close to US $100 for each senior citizens or disabled citizens, build houses for poor citizens, provides clean water and electricity for most rural areas and pays thousands of US dollars to victims of road accidents through the National Road Accident fund.
  South African national roads are of international standards; spacious, well built and regularly maintained with tollgates generating millions of dollars in income annually.
  Credit purchase system allows employed people to buy houses, cars and even the latest gadgets on credit.
  Proper sewage system means proper drainage of sewage with no chocked open gutters to breed mosquitoes.
  Standard telecommunication systems ensure proper TV signals without long TV poles.
  
  Bursaries or scholarships are provided by both the government and private institutions.
  
  Man the list goes on and on.
  
  Imagine South Africa only got independence in 1994 and Ghana 1957 yet they are far advanced than us.
  South Africans enjoy comfortable lives. they hardly seek greener pastures overseas.
  Still come and have a look at how many Ghanaians are here in South Africa and suffering yet we don't want to go back home because it's even worse back home.
  
  Eight years for Nana won't even be enough to eradicate the economic woes of Ghana.
  
  Nevertheless the new government can start with the basics and hopefully Ghanaians can be proud as citizens of Ghana.
