Anyway Greater-Accra is now Akan Region. There are more Akans there than Ga-Adangme. The vote was basically Akan against the rest. He didn't win any non-Akan Region even though he did better in some northern regions compared with the last time around.
We should stop this regional balance in cabinet thing. He needs people he can speak Twi with at cabinet meetings. There are other important non-cabinet appointments he can select non-Akans to.

The complaint from non-Akans is that Akans freeze them out and take it for granted that everybody speaks Akan or must speak Akan. The cabinet meeting may be in English but after the meeting, the small talk invariably defaults to Twi. Most of Nana's cabinet will be Twi and the small talk will always be in Twi. If there's a non Twi around, the Twi speakers will be forced not to spew Twi or take it that the non-twis understand what they are saying. Many people in Ghana today understand Twi but it doesn't mean that non-Twi Ghanaians are comfortable with using Twi.
Akufo-Addo can choose 95% Akans in his cabinet if he feels they are the people he can work with. That is his right. He only needs to see that those he chooses are qualified and are doing a good job.
Do you think an Ewe in the VR or G-A region will vote for Nana in 2020 because he has 4 Ewes in his inner cabinet? They won't!
