The people of Zongo will benefit from whatever they will get out of that Ministry but, deep down in their heart and in their minds they know NPP is Akan party and no amount of appeasement will bring us closer to NPP.

You cannot simly cure the inner city or zongo problems solely by increasing social investment as it has rarely been successful. Just as we have a Ministry of Agriculture to look after our agricultural business affairs so it is justified to have an Inner City and Zongo Development Ministry to look after our Inner Cities and Zongos. Well done Mr President.

Did you really think through when you decided to put the crap on paper, Amos Amorse? Why not create a ministry for toilets and urinals or ministry of gutters and drainage systems or ministry of crime and vandals? These are some of the areas that has been lacking in each community across Ghana. Zongo communities in Ghana's urban areas suffer because we have politicians who lack foresight and ideas but long on book knowledge. Did we, as a nation under J. J. Rawlings, not decide we needed decentralized government to bring development decisions close to the people? So for 25+ years why did the decentralization ideas not work for Zongo communities?
We fail in Ghana because for as long as tribe is more important than nation basic development planning, ideas, funding and implementation will be disbursed to idiots with preferences on the brains. Which Ghanaians tend to live in Zongo communities? Where would they get their political power? Creating a new ministry, like the creation of YEA, is only going to add more meaningless low level government funded jobs that becomes fertile for political appointees who could not find their way out of brown paper bags if their own lives depended on how much more would they be abe to help anyone? Simply put we have Zongo communities because Agencies and people in charge of planning and development across Ghana are as useless as tits on a bull; they exist for no useful purposes but to spend governments money without worthwhile return to most communities.

It Can't Continue Like This That Some Communities Should Live In Poverty And Deprivation All The Days Of Their Lives.NO AND A BIG NO..Some Interventions Must Be Laid Down Now To Halt This . We Should Acknowledge That The Inclusion Of INNER CITY In Captioning This Ministry Does Not Limit Its Responsibilities To The Zongo Communities Alone. I Pray For God's Guidance And Protection For Nana And The Minister In Charge Of This Ministry In Particular To Work Hard To Bring Positive Changes In Our Inner Cities And Zongo.May The Good Lord Be Their Helper At All Times.
