Nyebro Yaw captured so well what's happening in Ghana and why it is happening and rightly put the onus of stopping it on Akufo Addo. I was disappointed with the lame duck Mahama not publicly ordering the IGP to take action to stop those attacks. But Mahama is someone not cut for power, and so had no clue how to use it for the general public good at all times.

Again, satisfy your curiosity by going back and reading those previous articles of mine where I have condemned the NDC (and the NPP) for their violent and unpatriotic acts.
Finally, I also think there are many here who either did not read past the title or past a couple of paragraphs. These readers may be lazy or look down upon critical reading/critical thinking. They also either see everything in terms of ethnicity or in terms of NDC/NPP.
I am not a member of either party. I wish none of them existed as a matter of course.

What is his view on the supposed last minute recruitment of party footsoldiers into various positions in the public service?
What he is failing to or has refused to recognise is that the NPP youth live in the same communities with those who were hurriedly recruited despite a ban on employment.Though the actions of the youth is unfortunate, any sensible human being who watches his or her colleagues employed under circumstances which were very discriminatory and unfair will definitely be hurt .The repercussions of that action is what we are witnessing.
Secondly what was the writer's reaction when similar things happened in 2009?
He could have been seen to be have undertaken a useful exercise if he had condemned what took place in 2009 as well as the unfair, discriminatory and provocative last minute recruitments undertaken by the outgone NDC government.
Until then, this piece should be considered as the usual NDC propaganda to get at Akuffo Addo.

Plagiarism is a terrible thing but when you get caught, you stand up, you own it, and apologize for it. Akufo-Addo has refused to offer any such personal apology up to date.
Instead, he has chosen to shift the blame to Eugene Arhin. Funny thing is Eugene was only 15yrs old when Akufo-Addo first competed against Kuffour for the NPP presidential primaries in 2000. Seven years later he would embark on his three attempts as the NPP presidential candidate. Does anybody believe that all these years Akufo-Addo never figured out what his inaugural speech would say if he ever won the presidency? Point is Akufo-Addo wrote this plagiarism speech himself, and he rehearsed it to precisely say the lines exactly as Clinton and Bush had said them.
2) Denying the Mahama Bungalow Saga:
As the evidence keeps streaming in, it is now clear from both sides that President-Elect Akufo-Addo did indeed meet President Mahama in the presence of Otumfour Osei Tutu. It is stated that it was then that Akufo-Addo verbally agreed to let Mahama continue to stay in his bungalow as part of his pension package. In fact, Akufo-Addo directed Mahama's chief of staff to document this in a letter to his transition team. Akufo-Addo's people who didn't support the idea intentionally leaked such letter to the Ghanaian media, knowing that most NPP Ghanaians have a hatred for Mahama, and will thus push to thwart the effort. Lo and behold, the rest of that is history. Once again, with all the statements and accusations flying up and down, Akufo-Addo has refused to state the obvious, making Mahama look like a greedy fool. A person of moral character would say, yes we did have an agreement but it looks like the laws would not permit it.
Here you have it, people! Here is the moral compass of our President. God help us!

I will not be surprised if the ndc is behind this seeming disturbances just to divert attention of their members from their abysmal performance during the elections and it's potential backlash on the their leadership, because I find it strange that they claim the npp is taking over public properties as if it is the first time something like this is happening. When a government that his lost power in such a humiliating fashion and is on its way out decides to fill all available vacancies with its foot soldiers, what do you expect the supporters of the winning party to do? The ndc created this situation and as usual turned round to blame the npp for it, you have lied your way into opposition and it seems you are not going to stop lying anytime soon.
