But what should we expect? Akufo-Addo and former President Kufuor claim to be lawyers, but no one knows the legal institutions that trained them. Akufo-Addo's resume is 'silent' as to where he received his legal education. He only claims that his law certificate is missing.

Akufo-Addo also claims to have been called to the British Bar and that he went through the Middle Temple in London, England. The problem with that bogus claim, however, is that to be admitted there a candidate must have obtained at least a 2nd Class Upper Division degree at the baccalaureate level and yet Akufo-Addo obtained a mere Third Class in Economics from the University of Ghana and therefore he was not qualified to enter that prestigious British institution. So, the legitimate question is, how did he gain admission to the Middle Temple in England?

Akufo-Addo also claims to have been called to the Ghana Bar upon his return from England, but that too is shrouded in mystery. He seems to have had his name registered through the back door, because while his name appears among the registered lawyers with the Ghana Legal Council, Akufo-Addo is unable to mention a single name of those with whom he went through the ceremony of being called to the Ghana Bar. Is he saying that the ceremony was done for him alone?

It's only in Ghana that someone like Akufo-Addo and Kufuor can claim to be lawyers but they are not and yet the gullible electorate will elect them as presidents. That's only because corruption has become part of the Ghanaian culture and so they don't care whether their political leaders are corrupt or not. What matters to the electorate is the ethnicity of the candidates. Once a candidate comes from their ethnic group, that's enough for them, because they hope to gain when their own people are in power. So, corruption will not end in Ghana. Surely, if corruption is to end in Ghana, a politician like Akufo-Addo would not and could never have won the presidency, because his track record of corruption, when he served as Attorney-General & Minister of Justice and later as Minister of Foreign Affairs & Regional Integration during the Kufuor administration is all there for Ghanaians to see.
