  I quote you: "We need more able, rational, patriotic and pragmatic scientists and technologists to solve our myriad problems and not more of these good-for-nothing, fake, unproductive or lazy, apocalyptic, conniving and millennialist clerics. The country and Africa for that matter have had enough of the latter and yet the continent is not better with them in positions of authority". My point of interest is " PATRIOTIC AND PRAGMATIC SCIENTISTS AND TECHNOLOGISTS ". Beside the so called useless Men-of-God, I always get boiled to the pulp when I hear some "talking crickets", who robe like vultures, and are only good at manipulating the minds of people to make living, refer to themselves " LEARNED COLEAGUES". Scientist and Engineers, the sharp brains, not forgetting about our Medical Doctors, without whose efforts the mankind would still be walking barefooted, don't even refer to themselves aso learned. Those criminals who are trained to defend even hardened criminals will never call themselves LEARNED if they have the clue as to how computers are made, how airplanes are constructed, how ships sail on the sea, and how a heart is transplanted. The world can better be managed by Scientist and Technocrates than the so called Learned Coleagues.

Ghana will remain peaceful and free, as long as these Trokosi Hater are prevented from coming close to the corridors of power. Btw, something spectacular, wealthy to emulate is going on in Kumasi. The rich culture of the Asante *Kookoase* people ( the Pride and Spirit of Ghana) is on display. Trokosis are cordially invited to come and learn. I bet the of-the-beat Agbazda-Boborbo dance will change if they witness the beautiful moves of kete-adoa dance.

  Wow, that’s strong stuff ans so delightful diametrically opposed*. The author let’s everybody very clear know, that he has an academic degree – congratulations and belongs to the minority in his country, who speaks the official language of Ghana. (After roundabout 60 years, of independence, which are three generations, and the choice to have English as the official language for the country).
  I can’t help, but that’s my impression after living four years in Ghana now.
  For me always disapponting is, when some people in such a forum don’t know something better than becoming coarse and insult others. On the other hand: I grew up in a real democracy and therefore i know, that a really good democracy (and of course its members) need such primitives and that the democracy , because of them is to no time in danger, vice versa: It needs such low educated people to grow stronger. I’m sure you know the proverb: “What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger” (wherewith I covered the macho-man part) ;-)
  
  Besides many serious questions I have the following:
  
  Did someone ever thought about, what it would mean if Mr. President Addo really received backup from above?
  - Where the angles registered at the EC?
  Because if not, the result would be faked and some people would have another reason to shout ”shame!”

  The Owusu Bempahs, the Kumchachas and the Obinims are simply the bizarre fringe elements who have moved to centre stage thanks to the mediocre media which which them much publicity and the failure of the mainstream churches to counter them while the stupid and dubious politicians embrace them in order to pander to the mass of illiterates and semi-illiterates and the miseducated populace.
