I myself had already slaughtered Chris on previous Ghanaweb posts and we have crucified him on the Eweland and CEANA forums too.

I had already written a number of Whatsapp messages to groups explaining why I was mortified to see the Asantehene cc. The least Mahama could have done if he wanted credibility by associating the Asantehene with this sordid saga is to mention in the body of the letter him and some others as present when the issue was raised and discussed, not cc. him. But, protocol prevents even that from being done but its breach is not as grievous as cc. the Asantehene that way, as if he is govt official and part of the Transition Team.

Mahama has simply continued with the lawlessness that exists in Ghana, which I urged him to combat. He rather added to it.

And it must also be said that Akufo Addo acted unlawfully too, to have engaged in such a conversation with Mahama before the Asantehene and approved Mahama's request, as if Ghana is a private property being sold to he Akufo Addo. That bumbling failure to follow procedures, starting from his heavily plagiarised speech, must be stopped at once!

Why was the sitting president then residing in that very premises if it is as you say? That besides the point, why did Akufo Addo consent to it in the first place? Was he ignorant or hej simply doesn't have the power to make decisions? Perhaps the power brokers in the NPP are the ones deciding on issues and he's a mere rubber-stamp puppet... If you feel the pardoning o the montie trio is an affront to the constitution, file a case and pursue it in court... Its even easier as your party is in power. Let your AG pursue the case. Why are you NPP members unable to recognise the fact that you have won the election and are in government? Leave the propaganda for opposition parties and focus on ruling the country. If Akufo Addo had changed his mind about giving the house to Mahama, all he had to do was write to him, not to array the former occupant of the office he's gleefully enjoying be ridiculed, insulted and disrespected over something he himself consented to.

Farewell to the Queen of Asanteman. Your contribution to the Ashanti Region was exemplary. It was through your valiant efforts and the effort of your son - Otumfuo Osei Tutu; Krobea Asante Kotoko - that the Ashanti Region has made tremendous progress in education.

For the past 8 years, Kumasi has always come first in the SHS exams on a city-by-city basis beating other strong educational cities such as Cape Coast and Accra. A recent survey indicated that 80% of students in state universities in Ghana are from 3 regions: Greater Accra, Ashanti and Eastern Region. As a young boy growing up in Kumasi, the city had only a few schools such as Prempeh, Owass and St. Louis that really excelled in national exams. Now the situation is completely different in Kumasi with a larger number of schools doing very well in the SHS exams e.g. Anglican SHS, Kumasi High, Kumasi Girls, Kumasi Academy, Yaa Asantewaa and Asanteman SHS.

As a man who grew up in Kumasi and now has an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from an Ivy League university in the U.S.A., I can safely say that your influence as the Queen in encouraging education in Ashanti has paid off.

We, the educated young men from Kumasi who are pursing professional careers in western countries would like to extend our gratitude to the late Asantehemaa and her son, Otumfuo for transforming the educational fortunes of the Ashanti Region.
