I wonder if the writer is talking from the scientific point of view or from a journalistic point of view. Nobody is critisizing the assembling of experts to do any jobb rather people are critisizing the creation of new and unnecessary ministries. If you dont know, ministers do not develop nations. It is rather public officials ,bureaucrats and street- level bureaucrats that contribute most to the development of a nation. That is where the expertis are and that is where we should be looking instead of creating unnecessary ministries. Scandinavian countries are among the most developed and successful countries. Go and ask them how many ministries they have. If you do not know about what you are talking about then do not say anything at all. What has the presidents travelling record has to do with his ability to run Ghana? Dont you know that what is considered democratic in Ghana might not be democratic in even Togo?

You must be either Nana Akufo-Addo's brain or some kind of a new fool in town, Kakraba Cromwell, to write and post an articles that is for the birds. If you truly believe and are convinced that Nana Akufo-Addo's plan is designed to collect a class of "black stars" as you claim then that will answer why I think you are the new fool in town. Can you list just one creative thinking that led to something significant in the private lives of each of the incoming appointees? What about those in the NDC administrations or for that matter since the 2nd Republic?
I will give you a simple lesson centered around foresight, prudence and wisdom. Each of our political leaders have had the luxury of government funding sources at their disposal to help them throw their respective weights around using government money. Give anyone, and I mean anyone, in Ghana the opportunity and government money to spend at their disposal and I guarantee there will be something positive to come out of each of our management and or mismanagement of those government funds. That Mr. Cromwell, is not some "black star" quality but more so to do with game of chance or probability. To put together a group of stars who have a can do spirit will require the making of a group of people who have done something in their private lives to better the lives of communities; not people who have used government money without restrictions to achieve very little in return. If you and or Nana Akufo-Addo think Osafo Marfo is Ghana's definition of "black stars" then God help Ghana. Everyone of the politicians over the past 50+years have been blessed with political connections and tax payer money to boot. So ask yourself this question: How many Ghanaians with MBA degrees or better do own and run their very own private businesses, without government money as startups, and are listed on the top 1 million top businesses in the world today? Better yet how many of them did make their money without government contract? We do not produce worthwhile products in Ghana, do not export any commodity that is in demand globally and sure as I am writing we cannot even feed ourselves. We import chicken legs that are throw ways in industrialized nation and that, Mr Cromwell, should tell you why old political hands are good for cleaning toilets and not to manage a nation; their ideas, ideals and foresight are but stale and full of mold.
