I didn't read anything of substance in the article. Is the columnist trying to tell us that the vetting is being done differently from the previous ones?

One would think government would want Ghanaians to be confident that the integrity of the nominees are intact and unassailable, but it seems the NPP’s
are hoping to hide that instead."
Brako-powers must go back and take a course in critical thinking skills. A yellow journalist.

One thing probably you and Hon. Suhuyini seem to think is that Hon. Agyarko was THE vice president of the bank. Be informed that in US, banks could have multiple vice presidents in different departments. The position of vice president is not unique. It cannot be the equivalent of DEPUTY Managing Director of a Ghanaian bank. Let me add that there is also the position of SENIOR vice president( who is not the second in command) and thus not equivalent to Deputy Managing Director in Ghanaian Bank. So, Hon Agyarko was A vice president and Not THE Vice president of the Bank. Hon Suhuyini must have been awed by the designation of Hon Agyarko, equating the position to the second in command of the bank. Probably thinking how a Ghanaian could rise to the rank of a second in command of a US bank. That sentiment perhaps informed his decision to ask those irrelevant questions, suggestive of mistrust. Also being a Vice President of bank at New York did not mean he was the vice president of all the branches in New York. In fact , I have worked under a female Indian Vice President of a bank in US and she had just 2 staff under her including me. She was later made to supervise a larger size staff
