The inference here is that integrity is not a given in everyone's life in other words speaking the truth is not a cakewalk for everyone. Integrity is the result of self-discipline, inner trust, and a decision to be relentlessly honest in our response to all situations in our lives. Recognition of truth in others is made easier when we're certain of the truth of our own lives.
The chilling truth and the important thing in life is to know what matters for us, especially for us in Ghana. My worry and utmost fear is the implications of the copycat syndrome and its diversive and strangulating effects on developmental efforts. Whenever we've chosen to learn anything, it has never been their technological advancements or the goody goodies of enhanced and accelerated development but the negative behavior and retrogressive aspects of their lives.
Ayariga's claim that the Minority MPS were offered bribes. This is a clear case of your truth versus mine; the alternative truth.
What we need but missing is the strength and growth that comes from knowing ourselves and what matters most for us.
We'd do well to re-evaluate the tastes we've acquired and still acquiring. How do we define crime in our dystopia? We walking a slippery slope.
