I have read a couple of your works. My reaction has always been same. What's your intention when you write? Is it to communicate to the masses or show off that you can write big English. I think the days of big English are over. You got some great ideas but next time when you sit behind your computer ask yourself " how could I present my ideas in a simpler manner to get to my audience? This is my sincere criticism. I know it takes effort to write. But come down a bit for the masses.

Nana, please don't discourage the man. You are shooting him in the wing. Writing is an art and everyone has his style. Some people are good at critique-ing and other explaining. People use the language they best to write, so Prof. Busia after all his world-acclaimed brilliance will use very down-to-earth vocabulary and we all appreciated it. Prof. Okoampa has developed his language like you see it and can be understood by probably a select group. Prof. Okoampa's essays may have to be explained to some people. But that does not make his style wrong. I am sorry if I appear insulting, but Nana, do you envy the man? For me I am still learning and would be glad to attain his status.

I believe you shd know that it's the general public that reads your articles and not a particular professional group like the Ghana Bar Association. Pls don't try to showcase your English writing skills and unfamiliar vocabulary. Communication is simply conveying your message so your hearers can understand and not trying to IMPRESS them that you are a great writer. You need advice. I believe people around you shd help you. If you really want people to be reading your writings you ve to communicate in a simple fashion so people will follow you. Sometimes by the time we are done reading, we don't even understand you.. It doesn't make sense. Sorry. You have knowledge but l think you lack wisdom. Pray for wisdom. Thanks
