  Corrupt and incompetent persons run sports in Ghana. In fact, our sports is much more reflective of what Ghana is like today. Why should a Government Sports Minister even 'negotiate' Black Star players' bonus and allowance package? The country's football needs to be independently run.
  
  Yes, football is a much-loved sport by millions of Ghanaians but the administration, organisation and management of our sport tells us everything about why Ghana has under-achieved in football and other sports kicked to the margins. Corruption, incompetence, mediocrity, political meddling, lack of funding and short-termism are behind the decline of our sports.
  
  And it seems every Government has prioritised football over other sports in Ghana. Ghana has the potential to win medals on the world stage in athletics and boxing, so the Government must pay equal attention to these sports activities/bodies as well.

The fact of the matter is that Akufo-Addo is a product of Ghana's stinky culture and traditions, and asking him to change his ways of doing things is cul de sac.
  
  Just recently the country woke up to witness the Rambo-style seizure of Kofi Adams' 5 vehicles in Akufo-Addo's democratic Republic of Ghana. Isn't this the same method Mahama operatives adopted? Self-actualization is never a virtue in the Ghanaian psyche, and we must be careful and manage our high expectation of Akufo-Addo because he is not out of space who just came down to be President - he is a product of the stinky Ghanaian culture.
