If you read the article you would realize the criticism is against more than just Akufo-Addo and the type of criticism being proferred here doesn't need Akufo-Addo to be in power for long before it is made. This is precisely the time it has to be made.

If you start your political administration by telling the people you're going to make mistakes, then we should start questioning you right away. We don't have to wait until you make mistakes and then tell us that you told us that you would make mistakes. After all, nobody begged him to be president over us. He was rather the one who begged us to elect him.

He is now the one on the hot seat and he must be made to feel the heat from day one! Why wait until it's too late?

But I can assure you that if you were to place your scorching focus on Nkrumah, you would find a panoply of criminality: President for life, one party state, imprisonment without trial, suppression of the freedom of the press, dismissal of Supreme Court judges, and the dissipation of billions of the national treasury in foolish international adventures.

Nkrumah's rule is over; so talk about him. Nana's rule has just begun; give him more time.
