A. An example of Okoampa's convoluted setence:

"Indeed, when his graduate thesis was revoked and his Master’s Degree summarily withdrawn because of the abject lack originality therein and massive levels of plagiarism, by the Academic Council of the University of Ghana, Mr. Iddrisu was a junior minister in the government of President John Evans Atta-Mills, late...."

B. We can improve this by simply using the active, rather than the passive, voice (active vs passive verbs):

"Indeed, when the Academic Council of the University of Ghana revoked his graduate thesis and summarily withdrew his Master’s Degree because of the abject lack [of] originality therein and massive levels of plagiarism, Mr. Iddrisu was a junior minister in the government of President John Evans Atta-Mills, late...."

C. We can still improve the above text by: (i) discarding redundant words and (ii) applying the logic of reason (Haruna's graduate thesis was withdrawn for a reason- plagiarism):

"Indeed, when the Academic Council of the University of Ghana summarily withdrew his Master’s Degree because of the massive levels of plagiarism in his graduate thesis, Mr. Iddrisu was a junior minister in the government of President John Evans Atta-Mills, late...."

D. Assuming you still love using passive verbs, it is still possible to get something less convoluted than Okoampa's original text:

And to the extent that they will have beef with someone who criticized that moron Mahama when he was busy lining his pocket and dishing out contract hampers to loyalists to the detriment of a whole nation? Why wont parliament have different committees to deal with sector ministries/agencies but will choose an omnibus committee that comprises of jackals and fakes who know nothing about why they are there? But nevertheless I want to set the record straight, Honourable Haruna Iddrisu stands tall among his peers, yes his masters degree certificate was really revoked by the university council,on account to that, plagiarism as it was claim he does,was his thesis a secondary or primary source data?,the gentleman carried a research relatively to a topic choose by the faculty. Haruna Iddrisu known as a student in the university as genus,and a then former NUGS president vividly carried his research and it went through supervision by his supervisor and a certificate was awarded to him, later on,when his political determination grown up to the point of hitting the first NPP government on the sale of Ghana Telecom and the government can no longer bear the heat, the then minister of education I stand to be corrected Prof forbi,connive with the university council to divert the attention of that gentleman saying his masters degree certificate has the chance to be revoked on the grounds of not acknowledging one writer whose work was used by Honourable Haruna Iddrisu. If readers could remembered he challenged the council in the law court, and the incumbency play a pivotal role on massaging the case. After 2008 general election, the institution called to reinstate his certificate for him and he emphatically say no it. Basically the issue of his certificate was merely political.
Persons like the writer might not know what he is talking about.
