The only reason is this government hate to hear the name Kwame Nkrumah,the new NPP government is happy to see the interchange become a white elephant.However,it is at the cost of the tax payer,but typical narrow minded politics will not secure the treasury from leakage.It is reckless for the government to appoint a Zongo minister but ignore the Kwame Nkrumah interchange.This Kyebi mafia is up to revenge only,soon we will all pay dearly for believing the hype .

Why does Ghanaian Times confuse lawlessness with indiscipline? One would have expected that when citizens fail or refuse observe social regulations and orders the police would step in to take action, without the prompting of the press. Are there any signs posted around the interchange alerting people to the protocols at the area?
I imagine that the people Ghanaian Times identify as traders are street hawkers in actuality. The behavior and activities of people at the interchange, as described by the Times reflects a microcosm of the general attitude of the population in Ghana in general. Isn't the situation at the Nkrumah interchange similar to the case at Kasoa interchange or as at Kajetia in Kumasi? Clear cases that mimic a sate of anarchy that some citizans interpret as exercising their right to do what they want, in the name of democracy.
If there is a police station located at the vicinity of the interchange, why do some drivers feel free to impede traffic at will, while hawkers take over pedestrian sidewalks? Maybe Ghanaians, in general, need to examine their social attitudes while ""priding" themselves as citizens of a middle-income society.
